Mens Wedding Rings

I been married to my wife for one year now, and my wedding ring only been off twice cause i had surgery, and i had a doctor appointment which i needed to have test done so i had to take it off, and every since then i haven’t taken it off =)

My buddy got married about 6 months ago, and he said that since he started wearing a wedding ring, TONS of women are attracted to him. I thought he was full of crap, because he likes to exaggerate, but then someone else said the same thing. So now I’m just curious. As a single man, if a women has a wedding ring on, that means "off limits", not "try and get her". So is it true that women like to go after men with rings on?

Ive heard people say that men should just have plain bands.

I have heard this in a restaurant and I was quite surprised…

For example, if a guy earns about ,000 / year, then ,400 is spent on the ring… Yikes! haha..

I personally don’t like wearing rings, and I would never wear either an engagement or a wedding ring, but not everyone is like this and lots of men wear rings…so….?

Somebody gave me a ring for a birthday gift. Never wore a ring, not sure what finger to wear it on.

I work in a hospital and I noticed that some of the doctors from India wear a lot of rings on their fingers. Then some don’t wear any jewlery at all. I was just wondering why this was and if it had anything to do with if they were married or not.

I think that when i’m married i would want mine to- if i’m wearing proof that i’m taken, why shouldn’t he?
but a friend (girl) of mine and i were talking and she says that she doesn’t care if he does or not.

My Anatomy II professor, who is this Nigerian playboy-type of guy, once told a group of us students that he leaves his wedding ring at home so he doesn’t get any trouble with the ladies.

And some girls in our class agreed with him!
They said single women are crazy about married men, since they see him as a provider who has got everything together.

So is it strategically a good idea to get a wedding ring?

After 10 years of marriage. Why would this still be an issue? My neighbor is having this problem. She is here crying her eyes out and I don’t know what to say anymore. However I don’t want to sugar coat anything. I want to give her the worse or okay scenerios.

Where did the origin of the wedding ring came from? Where in the Bible does it state that a ring on your finger represent a marriage between a man and woman? Is the wedding ring holy according to the Bible?

I am ready to ask the man of my dreams to marry me. The thing is, I don’t know if I have to give him the engagement ring first. Or do I even give him one? I mean, I have seen women with two rings that usully go together and have seen men with just one ring. So I dont know how it works. I really hope you guys can help me out. Thank you!

I have been browsing online store for wedding rings but there wasn’t any saying who these rings are suitable for. Are wedding rings suitable both for men and women or it depends?

Don’t call me superficial because I "only care about what the ring looks like." Truth is, I’m not about to get married, and I’m not even engaged. I’ve been dating an AMAZING guy for over three years, but, really, this isn’t related to that.

I was mainly asking for curiosity. Haha, actually, we just watched a romantic comedy together and it made me wonder (obviously the movie ended in marriage). It seems pretty apparrent that the female doesn’t get to choose the design of her ENGAGEMENT ring, but, do men/women get to choose their own wedding rings? Or does the person’s fiance choose his/her partners ring for them, and present it to them on the wedding day (without the future wife/husband knowing the ring’s physical appearance)?

I am looking to find a scratched mens wedding ring. NOT hammered style but filed or scratched. Any ideas? I prefer titanium. Thank you
